An annual clover with bright red conical flowers. Most commonly used as a fall cover crop to fix nitrogen in fallow vegetable beds. However, it can be incorporated into existing turfgrass similar to White Dutch Clover, but it is not perennial, and so it may not reliably come back year after year unless it is allowed to go to flower and set seed. Can be applied at a rate of 2lb/1000 sq feet. Available in 2lb bags.
